Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information: Your name and email address, collected through our authentication provider when you sign up.
  • Usage data: Your search history, saved lists, and export activity within the platform.
  • Billing information: Payment details are processed and stored by our payment processor. We do not store your credit card number.
  • Publicly available business intelligence: We collect and process publicly available business-level data, including website performance metrics, the presence of marketing tools on business websites, and whether a business has active job listings. This data is collected about businesses, not about individuals.

2. Phone Number Processing

localvein displays business phone numbers sourced from publicly available business directories. For users on eligible plans, phone numbers are sent to a third-party service to classify the line type (mobile, landline, or VoIP). This classification helps you plan your outreach strategy. We cache line type results to minimize redundant lookups. No personal phone numbers are collected or classified — only publicly listed business phone numbers.

Pro plan users may upload their own CSV files containing phone numbers for bulk classification. These uploaded phone numbers are processed through the same third-party lookup service, classified by line type, and returned to the user. Uploaded phone numbers are not stored beyond the duration of the classification request and are not shared with any party other than the lookup provider.

3. Data Enrichment and Business Intelligence

localvein enriches business listings with intelligence signals derived from publicly available sources. This enrichment is performed at the business level — we do not collect personal data about individual employees, owners, or customers of any business. The data sources we use include:

  • Website performance analysis: We assess website loading speed and performance for business websites using publicly available performance testing infrastructure.
  • Marketing tag detection: We analyze publicly accessible business websites to detect the presence of common marketing and analytics tags (such as Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager). We only check for tag presence — we do not access, read, or store any data those tags collect.
  • Public job board listings: We check publicly available job board listings to determine whether a business is actively hiring. This serves as a business health and growth signal. We do not collect information about individual job applicants.

Enrichment data is cached on our servers to minimize redundant external API calls and to improve response times. Cached enrichment data is refreshed periodically to maintain relevance.

4. Automated and AI-Assisted Processing

localvein uses a third-party AI language-model provider to generate a limited set of intelligence outputs from publicly available business data. These outputs are generated about businesses — not about individuals — and are only produced for users on plans that include the relevant feature:

  • Talking points: Short cold-call openers generated from a business's public profile (name, category, rating, review count, website presence).
  • Review sentiment analysis: A summary, theme list, and positive/neutral/negative breakdown produced from up to five publicly visible reviews of a business.
  • Visual branding score: A numeric rating of a business's top public photos, produced by a vision-capable model.

The business data sent to the AI provider is limited to the fields required for each output above. We do not send account information, billing data, saved lists, or any other user-identifying information to the AI provider. Generated outputs are cached on our servers so the same analysis is not re-run unnecessarily.

These outputs are produced by automated systems and may contain errors or mischaracterizations. They are intended as prospecting aids and should not be treated as definitive statements about any business. You may contact us at mateo@titanpipelines.com to request correction or removal of an AI-generated output about a business.

5. Market Data

localvein uses aggregated public demographic data from government and proprietary data sources to provide market intelligence. This data does not contain any personally identifiable information.

6. Cookies

We use cookies strictly for authentication and session management through our authentication provider. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. No analytics cookies are used beyond what is necessary for the service to function.

7. Data Retention

Your account information is retained for as long as your account is active. Search history and saved lists are retained until you delete them or request account deletion. Cached business data is refreshed periodically and older cached data is automatically purged.

8. Data Deletion

Signed-in users can request deletion instantly from Account › Privacy. Deletion is performed as a soft-delete with a 30-day grace window so accidental requests can be reversed from the same page. Once the grace window elapses, a daily purge job permanently removes your account and every associated record (profile, scans, saved lists, watchlist, CRM integrations, usage records, events). Active subscriptions are cancelled at the end of the current billing period.

If you prefer email, you can still contact mateo@titanpipelines.com and we will process the request within 30 days.

9. Third-Party Services

We use the following categories of third-party services:

  • Authentication provider: Manages user sign-up, sign-in, and session management.
  • Payment processor: Handles subscription billing and payment processing.
  • Phone lookup service: Classifies business phone line types for outreach planning.
  • Business data provider: Supplies business listing information from public directories.
  • Website analysis services: Assesses publicly accessible website performance and health.
  • Job listing data provider: Aggregates publicly available job postings for business hiring signal detection.
  • Domain registration lookup service: Returns public domain registration records (domain creation date, registrar) used as an age signal in opportunity scoring.
  • AI language-model provider: Generates talking points, review sentiment summaries, and visual branding scores from publicly available business data, as described in Section 4.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

10. Your Rights (CCPA / GDPR)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your personal data
  • Request a portable copy of your personal data
  • Opt out of the sale of personal data (we do not sell personal data)

Signed-in users can self-serve most of these rights directly: Account › Privacy offers an instant JSON data export (access & portability) and a self-service account deletion with a 30-day grace window. For corrections, objections, or any request you can’t complete in-app, email mateo@titanpipelines.com and we will respond within 30 days.

11. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on the platform. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
